#3 The Black Keys - El Camino
It rocks.
Seems Danger Mouse turned the garage rock thing into something more radio friendly. Not my style - usually. Commercial radio scares the SHIT out of me.
BUT - I liked this. Lots. Im a huge fan of early Black Keys, I like stripped back raw things, musically anyway. They did their experimenting, came back with the blues/rock/soul on brothers, then here they let Danger Mouse produce and play instruments and get some song writing credits.
yeah well it works.
Its not so garage, its more Lush Indie Garage ……
…if that makes sense.
